Position Summary Trident Enterprises is seeking a Sales Development Lead to drive wholesale sales growth and expand market presence across the western United States. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and maintaining a consistent and high-performing sales pipeline. This position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring the ability to develop sales strategies while actively engaging with customers, partners, and prospects. The Sales Development Lead will work closely with operations and leadership teams to support business growth with a focus on territory serviced directly by Trident's McCarran, NV distribution facility. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to increase wholesale revenue and market share Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial, residential, and agricultural sectors Build, manage, and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and prospects Establish and strengthen relationships with fence companies, contractors, property owners, municipalities, and agricultural clients Conduct outreach through calls, meetings, and industry networking to expand customer base Travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and support expansion into new territories Collaborate with operations and management to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using CRM systems Contribute to improving sales processes, tools, and reporting methods Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience (fencing, construction, agriculture, or related industry preferred) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Experience developing new markets or expanding into new territories Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results Willingness to travel regionally or nationally as needed Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred (not required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission Vehicle allowance Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match and profit sharing Paid time off and holidays What Success Looks Like in This Role Consistent growth in monthly and quarterly sales performance Expansion into new geographic markets and customer segments Development of a strong, sustainable sales pipeline High levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business Meaningful contributions to Trident's wholesale growth strategy
