Job Description
The Opportunity We are a well-established wholesaler of restaurant front- and back-of-the-house supplies, located in central New Jersey. We are looking for an experienced, talented Sales Executive to join our team. As part of the company's sales team, the Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue. This position offers significant potential for career advancement and professional development within the company. Duties & Responsibilities Work closely with the company's VP of Sales and sales representatives to implement sales strategies and achieve quarterly/annual sales goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding and fulfilling their needs. Provide excellent customer service and support on all aspects, including quotes, product specifications, and order status, through collaborating with the company's operations, purchasing, and fulfillment departments. Identify new business opportunities and develop new accounts. Support and attend trade shows and conferences to promote company products and services. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Associate's degree in business administration 1+ years of sales experience Work experience in the foodservice industry a plus Flexibility to travel and work extended hours Qualifications & Skills Needed for Success Sound work ethics and team player Extremely action, organized and detail-orientated Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing Ability to follow direction, multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines Project and time management skills; ability to rearrange tasks as priorities change Analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet usage/search
