White Sulphur Springs, MT Position Summary A Sales Floor Associate at Ace Hardware plays a key role in delivering the helpful, community‑focused service Ace is known for. This position supports customers with product selection, provides basic DIY guidance, maintains store organization, and ensures shelves are fully stocked and easy to shop. Work Environment Frequent interaction with customers Fast‑paced retail setting Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be at least 18 years old to perform propane‑related duties Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Maintain product displays by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring items are properly labeled. Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs or discrepancies to management. Operate the cash register when needed, including processing sales, returns, and exchanges. Keep the sales floor clean and organized , including folding apparel, arranging shelves, and maintaining visual standards. Follow company policies regarding loss prevention, safety, and customer service. Assist with receiving shipments , unpacking merchandise, and preparing items for the sales floor. Support team members during busy periods, promotions, and special events. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment Basic math and cash‑handling abilities Comfortable standing, walking throughout the shift, and lifting merchandise (typically up to 50lbs.) Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
