Job Description
Sales Operations Representative Role Overview:
As a Sales Operations Representative at Acima, you will be a critical gatekeeper in the onboarding of new retail partners and maintaining the settings of existing retail partners. Primary responsibilities are split between onboarding and maintenance of retailers. Onboarding you are to review and validate retailer documentation, ensuring each prospective partner meets Acima's policies and standards. Maintenance you are to know what an acceptable change is and what is not and facilitating the ask for those changes that need approval. You will help protect our business, our customers, and our retail ecosystem by identifying potential risks, spotting fraud, and ensuring operational accuracy throughout the process.Key Responsibilities:
Review retailer documents—including business licenses, EIN verification, retailer location photos, ownership details and banking information — to ensure accuracy and legitimacy. Understand Local, State & Federal business document requirements and common practice Identify red flags, suspicious patterns, or potentially fraudulent activity from retailers Communicate with sales representatives in requesting additional documentation, clarify discrepancies, or guide them through the process. Ensure all actions comply with Acima's internal policies and lease-to-own regulatory requirements. Provide insights into leadership on trends in fraud attempts or documentation issues to support continuous improvement in risk controls. Strong investigative mindset with the ability to dig into complex or unusual cases and identify root issues. Demonstrated ability to detect fraud, recognize red flags, and interpret patterns or inconsistencies in applications. Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment, adjusting quickly to new policies, tools, and workflow updates.
