Job Description

Residential Sales Representative & Estimator - Mindful Painting For Closers Who Actually Care About Their Customers. On-Site | Franklin, Hampshire & Hampden Counties This is a field-based, customer-facing role. You'll be running estimates and closing jobs in homeowners' homes across Western Massachusetts. We specialize in interior and exterior residential and commercial painting, as well as sprayed and specialty finishes — and we've built our reputation on doing excellent work and treating customers the right way. We're not the biggest company in the area. But we're one of the best, and we're growing fast. Our production team delivers. Our customers come back. Our referrals are real. And right now, we need a sales professional who can match the standard we've set on the production side and help us take things to the next level. What This Role Actually Looks Like This isn't a role where you'll be handed a territory and left to figure it out. We'll set you up with leads, a proven estimating process, and a production team that backs up everything you sell. What we need from you is the ability to walk into a home, earn a homeowner's trust, and close. Run in-home estimates for residential painting projects — interior, exterior, and specialty work Convert leads into signed jobs through a consultative, relationship-first sales approach Manage your pipeline with discipline — follow up consistently and let nothing fall through the cracks Work in close partnership with our production team to ensure smooth project handoffs and customer satisfaction from sale through completion Build lasting relationships with customers that generate repeat business and referrals Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue within existing and past customer relationships Represent Mindful Painting with the professionalism and integrity our reputation is built on What We're Looking For We'll be straightforward — this role has a high bar, and that's intentional. Proven track record in home services sales — painting, roofing, windows, siding, HVAC, or a similar in-home sales environment Demonstrated ability to close — you know your conversion rate, you're proud of it, and you can speak to it A consultative sales style — you build trust before you build proposals, and customers can feel the difference Pipeline discipline — you follow up religiously, you stay organized, and you treat every lead like it matters Strong communication skills — with customers, with your team, and with ownership A self-starter mentality — you don't wait for someone to tell you to make the next call Valid driver's license and reliable transportation — you'll be on the road every day Estimating experience in painting or a related trade is a strong plus, though not required Beyond the resume, we're hiring for integrity .
