Duty Free Americas, Inc. is a travel retailer offering our customer (traveling into Canada) top shelf liquors, international brand fragrances and quality gift items at Duty Free and/or significant price savings. Our International Falls location is currently seeking for Seasonal Sales Support Associates . Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, for up to 40 hours per week. Position Objective The Sales Support Associate is responsible for customer satisfaction as per the company Mission Statement this includes customer service, generating sales, store housekeeping, adherence to Custom Regulations, loss prevention and all Company Policy/Procedure standards. The Sales Support Associate primary responsibility includes selling merchandise and the delivery of merchandise. Position Responsibilities Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging all customers, maintaining excellent standards, and handling inquires/service in a professional manner with all components of excellent customer service Maintain an awareness of product knowledge information, merchandising promotions, and advertising features and accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions Assist customers by identifying and fulfilling needs and wants while creating up-sales and add-on purchases Participate in meeting store incentive programs and sales commission assignments as defined by DFA procedures Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping Handle inventory control which includes; receiving; unloading, unpacking and examination of incoming shipments, rejections of damaged items, record shortages, and corresponding with shipper/warehouse to rectify damages and shortages. Ensure duty-free merchandise is delivered on-time, to the correct location, to the correct customers per DFA delivery procedures, Airline Regulations and U S Customs regulations Performs other duties as required Essential Requirements Regular and reliable attendance. Flexibility and ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictates. Ability to speak comprehensibly and hear effectively with customers, vendors and/or associates of the organization. Ability to read efficiently, perform basic mathematical functions (count, add, subtract, divide & multiply) and write to accurately complete work related documentation. Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Physical demands include frequently standing for long periods of time; walking; ability to reach above or below shoulders, twist at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, climb and balance. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred (100) pounds. Ability to operate and use equipment (manual) such as ladder, step stool, objects with wheels, spray bottles and other cleaning equipment necessary to perform job function.
