POSITION PURPOSE
The Sales Support & Key Account Specialist performs professional level administrative to support to the Vice President of Revenue and supports the entire Sales Team while communicating a professional nature to new and existing customers. The position requires considerable knowledge of Office products, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SalesForce (CRM). This individual is responsible for filling out necessary paperwork and electronic forms for internal and external purposes in support of the National Account Manager Team. Other responsibilities include data entry, maintenance of CRM program, sales meeting preparation, research of new target customers and preparation/organization of various forms and reports related to sales activities. This individual may be asked to assist with projects and general office support tasks when necessary. These responsibilities and tasks will be coordinated with and supervised by the Vice-President, Sales. In addition, the Sales Support & Key Account Specialist is responsible for assisting the VP of Revenue in managing key "house accounts". This will include acting as a POC, organizing information and communication along with ensuring the client's needs are met by the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Average Percent of Time 40% Assisting in managing key "house" accounts. 40% Handle and process all aspects of administration pertaining to support of the Vice-President, Revenue, and the National Account Manager Team. 20% Research, email, and telephone prospective target customers for appointments with National Account Managers. Manage input into
CRM. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
  • Coordinate all activities with Sales meetings and events.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using Excel and corporate CRM.
  • Must have considerable knowledge with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications.
  • Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have strong ability to take notes and summarize.
  • Must have professional phone skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Must have strong persistence and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Be a buffer and coordinate emails received on VP email account.
  • Coordinate calendar for VP of Sales.
  • Be proficient in CRM on report writing.
