Position Overview:

Southern Style Spices is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Support Specialist to focus on customer retention and business development within the Austin and San Antonio areas. This role is vital for maintaining relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new opportunities to grow our business. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales within the food industry, a strong independent work ethic, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and continued business. Develop new business opportunities in the Austin/San Antonio area by identifying potential clients and building strong relationships. Act as a liaison between customers and the internal team to resolve any issues and ensure excellent service. Conduct regular visits to clients, being on the road 2 days per week to foster strong partnerships. Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, specifically within the food industry. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented. Reliable vehicle is required (fuel reimbursement and a quarterly vehicle maintenance stipend provided). Ability to travel within the Austin/San Antonio area (70% travel).

Compensation:

Salary:
