Traveling alongside and partnering directly with our top Account Executive, this role serves as a strategic point of contact to ensure our premier broker partners receive exceptional service, field support, and product education. The Junior Account Executive will actively manage pipeline development, work closely with internal underwriting and operations teams, and learn to independently drive wholesale loan volume, offering an unmatched entry point into a lucrative Non-QM sales career. Key Responsibilities Work in a hybrid field-based capacity, traveling frequently throughout Orange County and San Diego County to manage and expand broker relationships alongside our top producing Account Executive in the company. Identify core broker workflows and loan scenarios to cross-sell and position Champions Funding's Non-QM product suite effectively. Review broker accounts for production volume, identifying uncaptured business opportunities and gaps in account engagement. Audit pipeline performance metrics for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with wholesale lending standards. Identify, track, and resolve complex loan-level conditions, scenarios, and exceptions to ensure continuous pipeline flow. Prepare and correct file submissions and scenario documentation to ensure seamless execution and compliance with wholesale guidelines. Communicate with broker partners, account managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve pipeline friction and obtain missing documentation. Liaise with Underwriting, Operations, and Management Partners to prioritize file reviews and expedite clear-to-closes. Prepare and review regional production updates, track volume goals, and manage pipeline reporting for top-tier broker accounts. Ensure timely delivery of complete and accurate product updates, non-agency guidelines, and pricing shifts to the regional broker community. Maintain accurate records by updating and maintaining interaction logs within the company CRM and loan origination system. Develop a deep, functional understanding of Non-QM mortgage products, guideline interpretations, and wholesale lending dynamics. Ability to manage internal CRM and pipeline tracking tools. Identify process improvement opportunities to continuously enhance the broker journey. Experience collaborating heavily with internal Account Managers, Underwriters, and Loan Setup teams. Liaison between Field Sales and Internal Operations to execute high-level project tasks and urgent loan approvals. Responsible for keeping regional broker initiatives on track and balancing priorities to execute on key loan closings. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in mortgage sales support, loan processing, account management, or related wholesale lending roles preferred. Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and/or Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is strongly preferred to support and scale diverse broker networks in the Southern California market. Wholesale mortgage lending experience required. Strong foundational knowledge of Non-QM mortgage products, guidelines, and wholesale origination processes. Experience navigating loan files and resolving product-level conditions or file deficiencies. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple fast-moving files and deadlines. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build immediate rapport in the field. Ability to travel frequently across Orange County and San Diego County. Familiarity with enterprise software platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Encompass, or PriceMyLoan) is preferred. Relevant NMLS licensing or industry certification is a plus. Why Join Champions Funding?
