POSITION DESCRIPTION
The job of Executive Director, Assessment, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement is done for the purpose of directing, planning, coordinating and overseeing standards-based assessment, accountability and program evaluation activities including the implementation of accountability and assessment instruments and methodologies. The incumbent will provide professional learning and technical assistance to administrators and teachers county-wide in the areas of assessment and accountability, data related to standards, student achievement and accountability reporting and assist districts in planning and supporting multi-year educational research. This position is designated as a certificated management position and is part of the Management Leadership Team. View Job Description Requirements / QualificationsEXPERIENCE
Five years of increasingly responsible experience in assessment and accountability is required. A minimum of five years of successful administrative experience in a public school setting to include experience as a site level principal and district level administrator.EDUCATION
Master's Degree in Education or related field from an accredited College/University required. Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in a related field preferred.CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES
- Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential and Clear Administrative Credential appropriate for K-12 public school administration
- Valid California Driver's License may be required You must provide copies of permit/credential as required for position or provide evidence of qualifying for required permit/credential with your application materials to qualify for the position.
