Job Description

Company Profile:
Spectrum Medical Imaging Company is a privately held, full-service Imaging equipment and medical supply distributor, with over 42 years of experience. We have facilitated more than 1,000 installations, predominantly in Southern California, and serve over 800 imaging centers and medical facilities nationwide. As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team.
  • THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all customer accounts, nurturing long-term relationships, and driving sales growth. You will act as the main point of contact for your customers, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling our imaging products, medical supplies and services.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our accounts, understanding their needs and positioning our products and services to meet those needs.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Consultative Selling:
Conduct needs assessments and consult with clients to recommend appropriate contrast media and medical supplies, demonstrating a deep understanding of our product offerings.
Order Management:
Oversee the entire sales process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment and addressing any issues that may arise.
Market Analysis:
Keep abreast of market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth or new product offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the new account sales, marketing, operations, customer support and service teams to ensure alignment in client communications and delivery.
Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status using Salesforce. Provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the medical imaging or imaging supplies industry. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze data and market trends for informed decision-making. Proficient in CRM software (preferably Salesforce and/or NetSuite CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite. Results-oriented with a proactive approach to driving sales. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
