Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to join our team in the Agriculture, Lawn & Garden, and Construction Equipment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and establishing strong relationships with new and existing customers in both the agricultural and construction sectors. The role requires a blend of industry knowledge, customer service excellence, and sales expertise to meet revenue targets and contribute to the growth of our business. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, as it will enhance communication with a diverse client base but is not required. We are closed on Sundays and are only open 8-12 on Saturdays.
Duties Sales and Business Development:
Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new customers in the agriculture and construction industries. Leverage existing relationships and networks to generate new business opportunities.
Product Knowledge:
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our full range of agriculture and construction equipment, including features, benefits, and applications, to effectively present solutions to customers.
Customer Engagement:
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including farmers, construction contractors, and equipment fleet managers. Provide tailored recommendations based on individual customer needs.
Sales Presentations:
Conduct product demonstrations, sales presentations, and site visits to showcase the equipment's capabilities. Offer product solutions based on customer requirements and budget.
Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms of sale, including pricing, delivery schedules, and financing options. Successfully close deals and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Market Analysis:
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments. Adjust sales strategies to remain competitive and meet customer demands.
Customer Support:
Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain ongoing communication to promote repeat business.
Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities using CRM systems. Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management. Requirements Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the agriculture, construction equipment, or related industries. Ability to speak and understand the Spanish Language to help support the Spanish speaking clientele. Strong understanding of agricultural and/or construction machinery, including tractors, loaders, excavators, and related equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse customers. Strong negotiation, closing, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively. Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools. Ability to travel as required within the designated sales region. A valid driver's license is required. Willing to train the right candidates who do not meet these requirements.
