Sales Account Executive (Hunter Role) Team ITS LLC - Mattoon, IL Full‑time, Hybrid/Remote Sales Position Position Overview Team ITS is seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive focused exclusively on net‑new business development within a two hour radius of Mattoon and driving aggressive revenue growth. This is a true hunter role - not account management or client retention. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, generating opportunities, closing new business, and building a pipeline from the ground up. This individual is competitive, self‑driven, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced Managed IT Services (MSP) environment. Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development Prospect and generate new opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and in‑person meetings Identify and target companies needing Managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and technology solutions Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline Schedule and conduct discovery meetings with business decision‑makers Drive opportunities from first contact through signed agreement Sales & Revenue Growth Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals Focus heavily on generating Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) Develop proposals and pricing in coordination with leadership Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM activity tracking Market & Industry Engagement Attend networking events, business functions, and industry events Build relationships with referral partners and strategic contacts Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, business technology needs, and MSP market conditions Represent Team ITS professionally in the marketplace Internal Collaboration Coordinate client handoffs to operations and onboarding teams after contract execution Work with engineering leadership to scope opportunities when needed Participate in weekly sales meetings and pipeline reviews Qualifications 3+ years of B2B sales experience preferred Proven ability to generate and close net‑new business MSP, technology, telecommunications, or cybersecurity sales experience strongly preferred Strong prospecting and closing skills Comfortable with cold outreach and business development activity Excellent communication and presentation skills Highly self‑motivated and results‑driven CRM experience preferred Preferred Experience Managed IT Services (MSP) sales Cybersecurity sales Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) sales models Selling to SMB and mid‑market organizations Networking and relationship development in local business communities Compensation Structure Competitive base salary Uncapped commission structure Performance bonuses Mileage and business development reimbursement opportunities Strong earning potential tied directly to performance Ideal Candidate Traits Hunter mentality Competitive and goal‑oriented Persistent and confident Self‑starter who does not require micromanagement Strong urgency and follow‑through Comfortable hearing "no" and continuing to push forward Driven by results and income potential About Team ITS Team ITS is a managed IT and cybersecurity provider delivering proactive support, cybersecurity solutions, cloud services, and strategic technology guidance to businesses across multiple industries.
