Solutions (AE Tools Holdings, LLC) is a fast-growing technology solutions company serving customers across automotive diagnostics, managed services, and rugged field technology. We support a rapidly expanding customer base that includes independent repair shops, dealership networks, fleet operations, utility sector, state DOTs and enterprise accounts nationwide. Our sales team plays a critical role in the customer experience, and we take pride in the quality and responsiveness of the help we provide.
POSITION SUMMARY
This role has two gears, and you need to be good at both. The first gear is hunting. Every day you are working a prospect list — cold calling fleet managers, shop foremen, and operations directors who do not yet know AE Solutions exists. You are introducing our managed services model, qualifying their pain, and booking meetings or demos that move toward a sale. You are comfortable making 30+ outbound calls a day and you do not take silence as rejection. The second gear is growing what we already have. When a current customer calls in, you do not just answer their question and hang up. You understand their account, ask the right questions, and find the next opportunity — an additional laptop, a new location, a software upgrade, or a full managed services expansion. You are the person our customers hear on the phone and feel good about. The best inside sales reps treat every call — inbound or outbound — as an opportunity.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect and engage fleet managers, shop supervisors, and operations leaders through daily outbound calls Qualify leads, identify customer pain points, and schedule demos, meetings, or close smaller accounts directly Respond promptly to inbound customer calls and emails while ensuring issues are resolved or routed appropriately Identify opportunities for account growth including renewals, hardware upgrades, additional locations, and software expansion Maintain consistent follow-up on leads, quotes, customer inquiries, and trial conversations Manage and update all customer interactions, pipeline activity, and follow-up tasks in HubSpot Conduct regular customer check-ins and proactively support account retention and expansion Meet activity, pipeline, and revenue growth goals through strong customer relationship management
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
2+ years of inside sales, account management, or business development experience — B2B preferred Comfort and consistency on the phone: you make a high volume of outbound calls without burning out or losing energy Strong listening skills — you hear what a customer is not saying as clearly as what they are Organized and self-disciplined: you manage your own daily activity without being micromanaged Proficiency with CRM tools — HubSpot preferred; you document everything, every day Clear, confident communicator in both verbal and written form Competitive, coachable, and genuinely motivated by results Preferred Experience selling technology, software, or managed services products Background in fleet, automotive, utilities, or industrial sectors Familiarity with fleet diagnostic software or OEM tools (helpful but not required — we will train you) Experience growing existing accounts in addition to cold prospecting
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We pay people who perform. Base salary provides stability; commission and bonuses reward results. There is no ceiling on what strong performers earn here.
