Launch Your Career in Healthcare Sales We're growing rapidly and building a high-performing, relationship-driven sales organization — and the Associate Account Executive (AAE) role is designed for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact while building a long-term career in healthcare sales. What sets this opportunity apart is the level of investment we make in your success. From day one, you'll work directly alongside a top-performing Senior Account Executive through a structured nine-month development program focused on real-world mentorship, hands-on learning, and career growth. You won't be expected to figure things out on your own — you'll receive direct guidance, coaching, and support while learning how to build and manage your own client pipeline. This position is also an excellent opportunity for medical assistants and other healthcare professionals looking to transition into the business side of healthcare while continuing to use their clinical knowledge, communication skills, and patient-care experience in a new and rewarding way. What You'll Do Sales Development & Client Growth Partner closely with a Senior Account Executive to learn and execute the full sales cycle. Identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building. Participate in client meetings, sales presentations, and solution development discussions. Conduct outreach to healthcare providers, clinics, and institutional partners to expand market presence and strengthen partnerships. Support ongoing relationship management efforts to drive client retention, engagement, and satisfaction. Monitor client utilization and testing trends while proactively identifying opportunities for growth and service improvement. Track key sales activities, maintain accurate pipeline data, and work toward achieving point-based revenue goals. Account Onboarding & Support Assist with onboarding new accounts, including: Setting up ordering portals Implementing test requisition workflows Training clinical staff on specimen collection and logistics Serve as a resource for clients by helping ensure a smooth onboarding and implementation experience. Sales & Marketing Collaboration Participate in territory planning initiatives, marketing campaigns, and client education efforts related to genetic testing panels, including: Pharmacogenomics Hereditary cancer testing Infectious disease testing Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create client-facing materials, proposals, and case studies. Maintain accurate CRM documentation for client communications, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasting. Cross-Functional Partnership Work closely with laboratory operations, billing, and compliance teams to support efficient test processing and issue resolution. Share provider feedback and market insights to help improve services and support product development initiatives. Represent the company at industry conferences, regional meetings, and provider events. What We're Looking For 0-2 years of healthcare sales experience or transferable professional experience Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Highly coachable with a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally Competitive, resilient, and motivated to exceed goals Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Clinical experience (such as medical assistant or other patient-facing healthcare roles) is a strong plus Ability to build relationships with both clinical and administrative stakeholders Comfortable learning and explaining technical information in a clear and professional manner Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail Growth & Advancement The Associate Account Executive program is intentionally designed as a structured nine-month career development experience. Throughout the program, you'll receive direct mentorship from an experienced Senior Account Executive while gaining real-world experience in healthcare sales and client relationship management. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be considered for promotion to Account Executive, where you'll take on full territory responsibility and expanded earning potential.
