Job Description

Job Summary •Must have an active Health and Life Insurance License•We are seeking a results-driven Insurance Sales Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of insurance agencies. This role is responsible for driving new business, strengthening agency relationships, increasing product diversity, and ensuring consistent revenue growth across assigned partners. The ideal candidate is both a relationship builder and a sales strategist, able to coach agencies to higher production and create scalable growth systems. Key Responsibilities Agency Relationship Management Manage a book of business consisting of multiple independent and captive insurance agencies Serve as the primary point of contact for agency owners and sales teams Conduct regular strategy calls and business reviews to drive performance Sales Growth & Revenue Generation Drive new business production through agency partners Develop customized growth plans for each agency Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities Track and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals Training Train agency teams on product offerings, positioning, and sales strategies both in person and virtually Create playbooks and best practices for agency sales success Onboard new agencies and drive early-stage production Performance Management Analyze agency performance metrics and pipeline data Forecast revenue based on agency activity and opportunity flow Hold agencies accountable to production targets and growth initiatives Market Development Collaborate with marketing teams to launch co-branded campaigns Gather market feedback to improve products and competitiveness Qualifications 5-10+ years of experience in insurance sales, account management, or agency development Proven track record of driving revenue through partner channels Strong communication and presentation skills Experience managing multiple accounts/agencies simultaneously Experience in contracting and agent education Familiarity with employee benefits, health, or supplemental insurance Licensed in health and life insurance (preferred) Periodic travel required Bilingual Skills & Competencies Strategic sales planning Agency coaching and leadership CRM pipeline management Forecasting and data-driven decision making Excellent negotiation and closing skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Agency production growth (monthly/quarterly) New business written Retention and renewal rates Cross-sell/upsell expansion Agency engagement and activity
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
