Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for building trusted relationships and helping enterprise clients design and execute technology strategies that drive business outcomes. This role focuses on delivering best‑in‑class voice, internet, data, and cloud solutions to business and government customers. Supported by an industry‑leading marketing organization and award‑winning IT teams, the Account Manager converts qualified opportunities into long‑term client partnerships. This position offers a strong foundation in commercial sales and provides clear career progression for high performers seeking long‑term growth. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and manage new and existing B2B accounts through disciplined prospecting and relationship development Drive revenue growth by selling integrated technology solutions to growth‑oriented organizations Build and maintain collaborative, long‑term relationships with customers and local business communities Manage sales activities including lead follow‑up, networking, customer appointments, referrals, and targeted direct outreach Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within CRM tools Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales and productivity targets Execute all responsibilities with strong attention to detail, accountability, and results orientation Qualifications What You Bring Strong drive to succeed with a competitive, results‑focused mindset Commitment to delivering exceptional internal and external customer experiences Interest in technology, innovation, and continuous improvement Ability to manage a structured sales process from prospecting through close Required for Account Manager Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Minimum of two years of successful outside B2B sales experience Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quota Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
