Compensation:

We are owned by Charlotte-based American Spirit Media and feature the market's strongest local sports lineup—including the Carolina Panthers (NFL), MLB, FOX College Sports, and NASCAR. We also produce two popular local TV shows: Welcome Home and Medically Speaking. The Role We are seeking a driven, creative, and self-managed Advertising Sales Account Executive to join our team in Wilmington. In this on-site, full-time role, you will be the driving force behind the growth of local businesses and the local economy.

Key Responsibilities Develop & Manage:

Build lasting relationships with local business owners and community leaders.

Strategize:

Create tailored advertising proposals combining top-tier TV (WSFX / FOX Wilmington) and digital media platforms.

Close:

Achieve and exceed revenue targets by consistently implementing effective sales strategies.

Manage Campaigns:

Track campaign performance, analyze market trends, and provide exceptional customer service.

Promote:

Create unique sponsorship and promotional opportunities in the community.

Qualifications & Skills Sales Acumen:

Proven success in account management, sales, and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.

Media Savvy:

Strong understanding of digital media platforms, social media trends, and traditional advertising.

Communication:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for building rapport.

Drive:

Ability to work independently with a self-driven mindset, while collaborating effectively in a team setting.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Preferred). Previous experience in media/advertising sales is a significant plus!
