We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Flooring Sales Representative to join our growing team. Position Overview This position is responsible for developing commercial flooring opportunities, maintaining client relationships, preparing estimates and proposals, and assisting in securing awarded projects. The ideal candidate will have commercial flooring industry experience, strong estimating knowledge, and the ability to communicate professionally with general contractors, developers, property managers, and end users. Estimating experience within the commercial flooring industry is required. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with... General Contractors, developers, property management companies, multifamily builders, healthcare and hospitality clients. Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed project estimates Prepare proposals, scope letters, and bid submissions Coordinate pricing with manufacturers and suppliers Utilize estimating and project management software Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as required Follow up on submitted bids and negotiate awarded projects Work closely with internal operations and project management teams to ensure successful project execution Identify and pursue new commercial flooring opportunities throughout the NJ/NY market Qualifications Commercial flooring industry experience required Strong estimating and takeoff knowledge required Ability to read blueprints and construction specifications Comprehensive understanding of commercial flooring products, self-leveling and underlayment systems, estimating, and installation practices Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Self-motivated and relationship-driven Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus commission Aggressive performance-based compensation structure tied to project profitability Compensation commensurate with experience and business development ability Opportunity for long-term growth with an established and respected company Supportive team environment with strong operational backing
