We're expanding into the Ohio market and looking for a senior sales professional who already knows this industry, has the relationships to prove it, and wants to own a territory with real upside. The Opportunity This is a true ownership role. You'll be the face of MTLI Group across Ohio and adjacent territory, building the market from your existing network and our growing footprint. You'll sell integrated solutions across selective and pallet racking, mezzanines, conveyance, AS/RS, AGVs, AMRs, and broader automation systems — leveraging our partnerships with top global manufacturers to architect the right answer for each customer. You'll work directly with our leadership team and a dedicated application engineering resource, with clear air cover to win complex, multi-product deals. No layers, no politics. What You'll Do Own and develop the Ohio territory from prospecting through close, building pipeline across 3PLs, ecommerce fulfillment, manufacturers, food and beverage, automotive supply chain, and distribution accounts Lead consultative sales conversations with operations, supply chain, and engineering leaders, translating their challenges into integrated racking and automation solutions Coordinate with our application engineering team to scope, design, and present technical proposals Manage complex sales cycles ranging from $250K single-product wins to multi-million dollar integrated projects Represent MTLI Group at regional trade shows, customer sites, and industry events Build and maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline data in our CRM What We're Looking For 8+ years of B2B sales experience in material handling, racking, warehouse automation, conveyance, AS/RS, robotics, or related industrial sales A proven track record of carrying and exceeding quotas of $3M+ annually Existing relationships with operations and supply chain decision makers in Ohio and the surrounding region Comfort with consultative, technical, multi-stakeholder sales cycles of 3-12 months Self-directed, accountable, and energized by territory ownership Based in Ohio, ideally Columbus or central Ohio for territory coverage; willing to travel 50%+ within the region Experience working with or selling alongside global racking and automation manufacturers a strong plus Performance Expectations Minimum performance: $5M in annual sales Target performance: $10M in annual sales Top performers consistently exceed target — the comp plan is built to reward you for it
Compensation and Structure Year-one OTE:
$220K - $350K , uncapped, with accelerators above target Starting structure: $60-80K draw against commission , graduating to a guaranteed base salary as you hit defined ramp and revenue milestones (most reps transition within 6-12 months) Commission paid on collected revenue, with bonus multipliers on integrated multi-product solutions Car allowance, full expense account, and trade show budget Health, dental, and vision benefits Direct access to leadership and a real seat at the table as we scale the US team Why MTLI Group You've probably worked at one of the big OEMs or integrators. $100,423.41 - $165,198.09 per year
