Primary Function:
Under limited supervision and through an understanding of broadcast and marketing sales, create and manage advertising sales from prospecting clients through payment collections. With an understanding of what will be most effective for the client, write effective advertising copy and insure that contracts, production, and schedules are met. Maintain personal client list of active accounts. Applicant does not have to have a history of these talents but must be great with people and enthusiastic to learn.

Manage account sales volume to the level required to accomplish assigned personal sales goals Analyze territory for sales potential identifying prospective customers Focus sales strategies around long term accounts Maintain, communicate and attend remote broadcast and events scheduled Help resolve billing issues with customers if needed Prepares and promptly sends quotations to prospective advertisers including prices, specifications, and terms and conditions for projects Acts as liaison between customer and the station regarding delivery, service needs, and other related issues Provides listener and client feedback and competitive information to supervisor Prepares accurate sales forecasts reports on a timely basis when requested Submit contact activity sheets to supervisor in a timely manner Work schedule is understood to be Monday
- Friday 9am until 5pm minimum with night and weekends as required
