Role Overview This position is responsible for developing new business and managing client relationships within the commercial HVAC space. You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that improve system performance, efficiency, and reliability. Responsibilities Generate New Business Actively prospect through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic engagement. Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion. Evaluate Needs & Recommend Solutions Conduct site visits and consultations to assess building requirements, current system performance, and budget considerations. Propose HVAC solutions that align with both technical specifications and client objectives. Prepare Proposals & Presentations Develop clear, accurate proposals, including scope, pricing, and timelines. Deliver presentations that effectively communicate value and address client questions or concerns. Work Cross-Functionally Coordinate with internal teams such as project managers, estimators, and field technicians to ensure projects are scoped properly and executed successfully. Manage Client Relationships Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout the sales process and beyond. Build lasting partnerships that drive repeat business and referrals. Deliver on Sales Targets Consistently meet or exceed established sales quotas through strategic planning and a customer-focused approach. Stay Current on Industry Trends Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies, competitive offerings, and industry developments to remain effective in the market. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience in HVAC or technical sales Solid understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, systems, and services Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-starter with a results-driven mindset Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Valid driver's license with ability to travel for client meetings Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with commission opportunities and performance bonuses Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career development programs
