Cannabis Account Executive Alternative Compassion Services - 2.2 Bridgewater, MA Job Details Full-time From $40,000 a year 11 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Sales Customer service Basic math English Driver's License Leadership Full Job Description The Account Executive will represent ACS in the field and will be primarily responsible for managing relationships and sales with dispensaries, securing contract extraction services for ACS, maintaining an accurate call/email/contact history, and striving to improve sales revenue across all SKU categories. The Account Executive reports directly to the President/CEO, but the position will be aligned with ACS' leadership and industry marketing teams to drive brand and product awareness. The Account Executive will schedule in-store engagements for ACS pop-ups, attend industry events when needed, assist in brand content creation (i.e. photos, stories, reels), and build relationship with adjacent culture industries for cross-selling and promotional initiatives (i.e. food, music, sports). The Account Executiver is not just a salesperson, but a true ACS brand ambassador and advocate and as such requires a drive to succeed, the ability to find the fun, and exude professionalism. The Account Executive position offers a base salary commensurate to experience, a commission structure, and includes certain individual benefits.
Primary Repsonsibilites:
Implement and successfully execute B2B cannabis, concentrate, and edibles distribution and sales to include trade marketing strategies, order fulfillment, and delivery follow-up. Meet or exceed revenue targets and increase ACS product market share. Develop and maintain new industry relationships and collaborations, directly managing all aspects of an established customer base. Analyze and report to the President/CEO potential big deals, value add partnerships, and joint ventures. Continually grow the number of dispensaries (medical and adult use) carrying ACS products (i.e. targeting and signing up buyers). Build relationships and develop strong rapport with retail buyers, business management teams, and sales staff on behalf of ACS. Promote ACS product placement by working with dispensaries to secure high visibility locations within dispensaries for products and displays. Host in-store and 3rd party events as well as budtender/industry training seminars through coordinating and executing onsite staff consumer engagement to include education on product options for optimal understanding, ease of use and accessibility. Desired Experience A minimum of two years sales/customer service experience in a regulated medical and/or recreational cannabis State program, (preferably Massachusetts-based). Sales experience is a plus; an aptitude to learn and utilize sales tactics is a must. Experience and demonstrated successful use of seed-to-sale tracking software to include ongoing chain of custody data input. Ability to complete daily task lists provided by Leadership, read, write, and speak English persuasively, and must have basic arithmetic abilities. The ideal candidate will have a current and valid Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission industry badge. Travel Travel will be mostly during the day and be in Massachusetts during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected for special events and conference attendance.
