Job Description

Job Overview As a Commercial Account Manager for Ellis Insurance Agency (EIA) we are responsible for supporting and servicing our clients with amazing customer service. EIA is looking for a full-time Commercial Account Manager to assist with Commercial Support and Sales needs.
Salary Range:
$55,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Work from Home Flexible Schedule Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Mon-Fri Schedule Paid Time Off (PTO) Team and individual bonuses paid out monthly Weekly team meetings Team building events Home/work life balance Work equipment supplied by EIA Appreciation Events Business casual Paid Holidays Casual Fridays Community service Collaborative work environment Requirements 3+ Years experience in the Commercial Insurance space 2+ years of experience issuing Certifications Must have an active Commercial Insurance license Responsibilities Provide support to Commercial Team, including sales, renewals, claims follow-up, sales, support, billing and certifications. Schedule appointments with clients and prospects as requested by Commercial Account Director, other team members, Sales Executive and Account Executive(s). Accompany Commercial Account Director, other team members, Sales Executive and Account Executive(s) on prospect and client meetings. Complete applications in coordination with Sales Executive/Account Executive(s); submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies. Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verifies their accuracy; forwards them to client with appropriate correspondence. Prepare and present summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals for clients and prospects. Process and following up on cancellations requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution; maintains agency in financial equity whenever possible. Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitates prompt response from carrier staff and follows up on claims status, according to agency procedures. Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, coworkers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts.
