This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for a seasoned real estate professional who is ready to bring industry expertise, network, and credibility into the world of SaaS sales and customer success. Sitting at the intersection of sales, customer success, and product, you will be the trusted voice that translates Clai's technology into real value for agents and brokers. You will own a national pipeline of warm and cold prospects, drive new revenue, coach customers through onboarding and adoption, and serve as the agent's voice inside our product organization. This role is uniquely suited for a licensed Florida real estate agent who has lived the daily reality of transactions, paperwork, and client management — and who is genuinely excited about the opportunity to help thousands of fellow agents work smarter through technology. Sales and adoption are Clai's top priorities, and this role is designed to drive both. What You'll Do Drive New Revenue & Customer Acquisition (Primary Focus) Own a national pipeline of agents and brokerages, including a curated list of warm, preselected leads as well as self-sourced outbound opportunities Conduct compelling, agent-to-agent product demonstrations — both virtual and in-person — that show how Clai eliminates friction in the transaction process Lead in-person sales meetings, brokerage office visits, and on-site presentations across key markets Represent Clai at industry events, conferences, MLS gatherings, and broker forums to generate pipeline and brand awareness Build and nurture a referral engine by activating existing happy customers as advocates and lead sources Move deals from first contact through close, including discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and contract signature Sell across both segments — individual agents (transactional, faster cycle) and brokerages (longer cycle, multi-stakeholder, higher value) Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets tied to new account acquisition, pipeline activity, and platform activation Coach, Onboard & Retain Customers Lead onboarding for new agents and brokerages — from kickoff calls to platform walkthroughs to first-transaction support Serve as a peer coach and trusted advisor, leveraging your firsthand agent experience to translate Clai's features into real-world workflows Build customer-specific playbooks that show agents how to integrate Clai into their daily routines Conduct regular check-ins, quarterly business reviews, and proactive health-check calls to drive long-term adoption Identify at-risk accounts early and execute retention strategies to prevent churn Surface upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts — particularly individual agents who can grow into team or brokerage-level deals Polish the Platform (Voice of the Customer) Lead user testing sessions with real agents — running structured tests, capturing observations, and translating raw feedback into actionable product insights Participate in weekly product meetings, bringing the agent's perspective to roadmap discussions, feature prioritization, and design decisions Submit structured feedback and bug reports through our internal channels with the clarity and context engineering teams need to act Beta test new features ahead of release and provide a real-world readiness check before they ship Be the in-house authority on "what real agents actually need" — and unafraid to push back when something doesn't pass the agent test Represent Clai in the Field Build and maintain relationships across the Florida real estate community and the national broker network Conduct outbound calls, attend industry events, host meet-ups, and tap your existing real estate network to expand Clai's footprint Partner with marketing on case studies, testimonials, agent-focused content, and event strategy Be a public face of Clai — confident speaking on stage, on a podcast, on a Zoom demo, or across the table from a managing broker Operate as a Cross-Functional Player Work daily within Clai's CRM to manage pipeline, log activities, and report on performance Partner with the Director of Success and CEO on go-to-market strategy, account targeting, and pricing experiments Collaborate with marketing on messaging that resonates with real agents, not just buyers and prospects Provide weekly pipeline reports and quarterly business reviews to leadership What Success Looks Like in This Role First 30 days: Master the Clai platform, complete onboarding, shadow customer calls, and begin contributing to product feedback sessions First 90 days: Own your pipeline, deliver first batch of demos, and close initial new accounts; complete first round of user testing sessions with agents First 6 months: Hit quarterly sales targets, establish strong onboarding playbooks, and become the in-house "voice of the agent" in product meetings First year: Help Clai scale from where it is today to its next stage of growth — both as a top revenue contributor and as a key driver of platform refinement Why This Role Is Different Most software sales roles ask you to sell to people you've never met, in industries you've only read about.
