Job Description
Supply Chain:
Focus on the $500K-$60M revenue sweet spot, expanding into growing local businesses that have a budget and a clear digital dependency. The "Business Automation"Entry:
Position $15K-$25K initial projects as essential business automation and infrastructure upgrades (e.g., ERP integrations, inventory syncing) rather than basic website redesigns. Large eCommerce Modernization:
Target large, established eCommerce companies currently selling online that need a modern push. You will sell modernization plans designed to address hidden technical debt and upgrade their digital infrastructure, ultimately restoring their growth and operational readiness.The Mandatory Retainer Pivot:
Educate clients from day one that "projects are for building, retainers are for operating". You will attach foundational, SLA-backed "use-it-or-lose-it" maintenance and hosting retainers to every initial build to protect their investment.Local Ecosystem Infiltration:
Actively embed yourself within the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber (specifically the "Inspire" B2B networking community) and the Front Royal-Warren County Economic Development Authority to build face-to-face trust. In every meeting, emphasize our "Local Virginia Roots with National Reach".Tech-Enabled Outbound:
Execute a highly personalized, calm, and research-driven Account-Based Sales (ABS) approach. You will use your tech stack to identify local decision-makers before ever asking for a meeting.Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Pipeline Management:
Own the entire sales journey from account-based prospecting to leading diagnostic discovery and closing the deal.Tech Stack Mastery:
Utilize Apollo.io and LinkedIn Sales Navigator as your primary lead generation engines, leveraging the fact that LinkedIn drives roughly 80% of all B2B social media leads. Maintain strict CRM hygiene within HubSpot, and manage outbound workflows via Google Workspace.Lead Strategic Web Reviews:
Conduct structured 45-minute diagnostic conversations focused entirely on understanding a prospect's business impact, technical complexity, and downtime risks. You will not pitch; you will diagnose. Enforce theDisqualification Matrix:
Practice the "strategic walk-away". If a local business just wants a cheap website, lacks a dedicated technical owner, or shops purely on price, you will disengage early and professionally to protect our delivery team. Who You Are (The Ideal Candidate)Outgoing & Relentless:

You channel your killer sales instinct into finding the absolute best fit, embodying "Calm Over Urgency" and "Structure Over Improvisation". You don't manufacture artificial deadlines to close a deal.Technically Fluent & Business Savvy:
You can comfortably speak with CTOs, COOs, and Founders about ERP integrations, inventory sync issues, and compliance risks without needing an engineer on every call.Locally Connected:
You understand the Shenandoah Valley business landscape and thrive in face-to-face settings.Accountability-Driven:
You sell outcomes, coverage, and responsibility—not blocks of hours.Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$45,000 - $60,000 starting base salary (designed to scale fast with performance).Strategic Commission Structure:
Aggressive, uncapped variable compensation that heavily incentivizes the acquisition of recurring monthly retainers and enterprise SLA contracts over one-off, ad-hoc projects.Mileage Reimbursement:
You will be reimbursed for travel expenses related to attending local networking events, Chamber meetings, and on-site client visits.Direct Oversight:
You will report directly to the CEO, operating without micromanagement but with absolute clarity on expectations and deliverables.Pay:
