Job Description

Sales Account Executive (Hunter Role) Base Salary Up to $60,000 + Commission and Bonus Opportunities Are you a true hunter who thrives on winning new business, building relationships, and closing deals? Since 1985, Steamaway has been a trusted leader in commercial truck washing and fleet cleaning services across Texas. We help transportation companies protect their image, maintain cleaner equipment, and keep their fleets road-ready with dependable, high-quality service. We operate in an essential, recession-resistant industry with strong long-term customer relationships and recurring business — and we're continuing to grow aggressively. We are looking for our next
TRUE HUNTER
to help expand our footprint, build lasting client relationships, and drive new business opportunities in the market. This is a high-energy sales role with approximately:
  • 70% new business development (hunting)
  • 30% account management and relationship building (farming) You'll be assigned a defined DFW territory focused on commercial trucking and fleet accounts with 5+ trucks.
Territories are strategically divided to maximize opportunity, market coverage, and long-term account growth. If you thrive on prospecting, closing deals, and creating opportunities from the ground up, we want to talk to you.
COMPENSATION AND HIGHLIGHTS
  • Base salary up to $60,000
  • Performance-based commission structure
  • Earn 20% commission on new weekly recurring revenue
  • Additional quarterly bonus opportunities

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Prospect and develop new commercial accounts within assigned territories
  • Build relationships with fleet managers, transportation companies, and commercial clients
  • Conduct in-person visits, cold outreach, and follow-ups
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
  • Work closely with operations to ensure excellent customer experience
  • Manage pipeline activity and track opportunities
  • Represent the company professionally in the field
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Outside sales or B2B sales experience preferred
  • Hunter mentality with strong closing skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face prospecting
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned territory
  • Long-term mindset and strong work ethic
