RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize your 5 years of direct experience in intermodal transportation, along with any other related transportation sales experience, to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored transportation solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to effectively adapt sales strategies and identify potential areas for growth.
- Engage with current and prospective clients through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and virtual presentations.
- Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and establish strong connections with them.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our client's transportation solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals and maximize revenue.
SKILLS:
- Demonstrated success in driving business development, preferably within the transportation industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and client satisfaction metrics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas and solutions effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, coupled with the ability to identify and address client objections.
