Job Description:
Overview We are seeking an experienced enterprise engineer to support a government customer as a Dedicated Operations Technical Account Manager. This role focuses on operations, administration, and ongoing support for containerized environments built on OpenShift and Kubernetes. You will work onsite daily at a customer facility, providing hands-on technical support, system optimization, and guidance on cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities OpenShift Operations:
Manage and support OpenShift clusters, including upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, scaling, networking, and storage.
Onsite Support:
Work onsite daily with the customer and travel occasionally to nearby facilities as needed.
Proactive Maintenance:
Perform system health checks, capacity planning, and issue prevention to maintain stable environments.
Customer Partnership:
Understand the customer's architecture and goals, and act as a trusted advisor for their container platform.
Technical Collaboration:
Work with internal engineering and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex Kubernetes and container-related issues.
Strategic Guidance:
Provide recommendations on container platforms, cloud-native development, and DevSecOps practices.
Case Management:
Handle support tickets, maintain documentation, and share best practices with the customer.
