Job Description

BACKGROUND
: Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves nearly 2000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. CUSTODIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
The Custodial Account Manager position has a critical role in managing the custodial operations within a specific set of accounts, building locations and/or shift times. The Custodial Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison and assigned accounts for day-to-day operational issues and routine communication. The Custodial Account Manager will work closely with the Custodial Project Manager to ensure the budget requirements for supplies and labor are met. The Custodial Account Manager position may require night and weekend work and require communication during off-hours when an employee or customer reaches out for support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In conjunction with custodial Project Managers, plans, organizes, and executes day-to-day custodial and grounds activities by preparing work schedules; prioritizes and coordinates operations crews' duties and assignments; ensures effective workflow and facilitates operations; adjusts work schedules as approved by the Project Manager. Ensures standards and all operational contractual obligations are met. Recommends monthly inventory orders, coordinates with suppliers to ensure supplies are delivered in a timely fashion and ensures that assigned sites do not run out of consumables or cleaning products before the next delivery. Serves as the direct Point of Contact for all front-line customer contacts and assigned employees within their portfolio of accounts. Responds to all communication promptly and efficiently to ensure customer and employee satisfaction. Reviews applicants, conduct interviews and recommends favorable applicants for hire based on the business's needs. Evaluates subordinate employees consistently and follows guidelines set forth by our Human Resources Department for both positive recognition and disciplinary steps as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining accurate Performance Logs, completing Performance Improvement Plans, and following up with investigative activities as assigned by Custodial Management or the Human Resources Department. Completes assigned number of inspections each month. Completes all paperwork and reports required by custodial management and/or customers (for example, communication logs, training documentation, etc.) Maintains business with Division financial goals by managing job budgets and costs associated within their area of direct responsibility. Assumes responsibility for direct reports' vacation and sick time as needed. Attends training events and other business partners and assists with implementing standardized operating procedures. Ensures staff is properly trained. Reacts and responds appropriately to ALL shift emergencies. They are expected to respond to after-hours and emergency security calls in the absence of available site personnel. Fill in for all direct labor staff as needed. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card and Government clearance.
