Job Description:
A leading alternative asset management and advisory firm is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to lead fundraising and investor engagement efforts across the platform. This is a senior, externally facing role with significant visibility across leadership, investors, and the broader investment community. The ideal candidate brings strong investor relations experience, excellent judgment, and a thoughtful, relationship-oriented approach to fundraising and client engagement. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with execution and wants meaningful ownership within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. The role will work closely with senior leadership on fundraising strategy, investor communications, conferences, and relationship management across both existing and prospective investors. What You'll Do Lead investor relations and fundraising initiatives across current and prospective investors Partner closely with leadership on fundraising strategy, investor meetings, and capital formation efforts Build and maintain long-term relationships with investors, managers, founders, and strategic partners Serve as a key point of contact throughout diligence and fundraising processes Prepare and refine investor-facing materials including presentations, marketing collateral, investment memos, updates, and tear sheets Coordinate reporting timelines, follow-up items, investor communications, and fundraising deliverables Manage and organize pipelines, CRM systems, reporting calendars, and data room processes Drive preparation and execution for investor meetings, conferences, annual events, and strategic gatherings Anticipate upcoming priorities and ensure all external commitments are delivered with a high standard of quality and accuracy Operate comfortably across both strategic initiatives and detailed executional work Who You Are 5+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, alternative asset management, private markets, investment banking, or similarly rigorous environments Experience managing investor relationships and supporting fundraising or capital formation efforts Strong communicator with sound judgment and professionalism Relationship-oriented with a thoughtful and polished approach Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable managing multiple priorities and moving pieces simultaneously Strong writer with experience preparing polished investor-facing materials and presentations Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve quickly Bachelor's degree required Competitive compensation package includes base salary, bonus potential, comprehensive healthcare benefits, 401(k) with match, generous PTO, daily lunches and snacks, and additional firm perks.
