In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis

Description The Supervisor, New Model Supply will lead a team that will be responsible for supporting the daily, weekly, and monthly activities that drive New Model launches and support strong product health after vehicle launch for the first 18 months. The Supervisor will also be responsible for leading the team to develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), team performance monitoring, training, executive level communication/reporting, and supporting ad-hoc requests/ special projects. This leadership role will be responsible for growing and maintaining the drivers that will best ensure timely product placement in the correct distribution centers to achieve and maintain a successful new vehicle launch. This position will also be in direct contact with upper management from both internal and external customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide input, analysis, recommendations/decisions, and team leadership/direction in an effort to establish and achieve vehicle launch success. Identify, prioritize, and implement process (or systems) improvements aligned to MPA goals and strategies in order to maximize current New Model needs for optimal user reports/ordering templates. Act as a mentor and develop/administer a Supply Team performance evaluation and training program to ensure consistent performance in order to maintain a high level of organizational intelligence. Develop, review, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with Supply Team leadership on auditing adherence to SOP's. Generate status reports to ensure effective communication of performance against objectives for internal customers, external customers, and executive management
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Provide leadership and mentor team members in all areas of New Model Supply as needed in order to grow and maintain organizational intelligence Establish New Model Supply KPI aligned to customer and internal organizational priorities Develop and administer group and individual KPI tracking and training program Lead team weekly meetings, OE brand updates. Provide direction aligned to organizational goals on how to achieve set KPl's Effectively coordinate and communicate New Model policy to internal and external customers Communicate with Management of MPA and OEs issues and resolutions to provide better customer service through process improvement. Provide guidance to Supply New Model Analysts to meet department objectives for fill rate and inventory (MOS). Ensure team members adhere to MPA SOP's, policies, and procedures Promote a positive team environment with empowered employees where team members are held accountable Manage special projects as needed Support any ad-hoc requests for data or analysis Further develop and ensure all Supply SOP's are well documented and easily accessible for ease of use Coordinate with global partners to identify best practices and maximize global supply chain operations

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (or a combination of education and experience) is required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2-4
years of directly-related experience in inventory management 2 or more years of supervisory experience Experience with MS Access or other SQL preferred SKILLS Demonstrated ability to identify problems/issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow-up to ensure positive results is required Experience with MS Access or other SQL preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills required Strong leadership and mentoring skills required Excellent organizational skills (Reports and Timelines) Flexibility and responsiveness to changing circumstances Employment Type
