Job Description
Director of Client Relations High-end portrait and event photographer seeks a positive, generous and resourceful people person who likes to surprise and delight clients. Must love communicating with people and finding new ways to enhance the experience of all we provide. Ensure our clients are moving effortlessly through the sales and fulfillment pipelines while focused on thriving business and emotional impact. The ideal candidate has:
Friendly, patient, relaxed care taking personality with good sense of detail and logistics Tenacity and outspoken in following up and staying connected via phone, text, and email. Sales, business development, marketing automation and customer relations skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both on phone or via video conferencing). Strong Mac software skills (including Gmail and Google Calendar, Excel, Photoshelter, Lightroom, and Acuity Scheduler. Keen aesthetic, a design eye for detail and love of photography. Experience using CRM systems, pipeline tools and the google suite of productivity tools. Strong organizational and project management skills. Duties/Responsibilities You'll serve as an ambassador of high touch personalized service, education, tech support, business development, and order fulfillment. Light assistance on environmental portrait sessions for couples and families and small weddings. Email, phone, text and in person follow-up and support on inquiries and leads. Order fulfillment on current print orders. Closing various clerical and logistical open loops. Documenting training videos using Loom. Processing inquiries via phone, text and email. Scheduling clients using Acuity Scheduling and CRM Coordinating print and wall art sales, design and production. Assisting clients with choosing their favorite images and ordering prints or albums. Securing and calendaring photo sessions and event/wedding bookings. Sending out digital and thank you correspondence to current clients.Start Date:
April 28, 2026Location:
Downtown Santa Barbara. No telecommuting or remote work until completion of initial 30 day training period. Flexible Hours & Schedule 8-20hrs per week (2-4 weekdays of your choosing). Hours may be increased after the initial 60 days. Paid for Performance Compensation based on a $25/hr base with a 15% commission on net profit of all sessions booked and products sold.
