  • Full-time Job description Logistics Account Manager Ki Liquid Engineering is the leading chemical blender/formulator manufacturer in the U.
S. As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, the company serves customers in many business-to-business market segments including automotive, cleaning supplies, CPG, and 3PL Services. Logistics Account Manager Summary Key Account Manager responsible for end‑to‑end inventory management , shipping operations, and internal account coordination. This role spends approximately 85% of time on warehouse, inventory, and shipping processes and 15% on direct customer interaction for order confirmations, escalations, and status updates. The ideal candidate ensures on‑time fulfillment, accurate inventory records, and smooth handoffs between operations and customer service. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management — Maintain accurate cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, manage stock transfers, and optimize reorder points. Shipping Operations — Coordinate daily pick/pack/ship activities, select carriers, prepare shipping documentation, and monitor transit exceptions. Order Fulfillment — Oversee order prioritization, expedite critical shipments, and ensure correct SKU/lot/expiration handling. Account Coordination — Act as the internal owner for assigned accounts: translate customer requirements into operational tasks, manage SLAs, and coordinate cross‑functional resources. Customer Interface (≈15%) — Provide order status, handle shipment exceptions, confirm delivery details, and support billing/claims escalations. Process Improvement — Identify bottlenecks, propose SOP updates, and lead small projects to reduce lead time and shrinkage. Reporting and KPIs — Produce daily/weekly inventory and shipping reports; escalate trends and corrective actions to leadership. Compliance and Documentation — Ensure shipping and storage comply with company policies and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records.
Required Qualifications Experience:
3+ years in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory control; experience supporting customer accounts preferred.
Education:
Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with WMS/ERP systems and Excel; familiarity with carrier portals and basic EDI or API concepts.
Core Competencies:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
Communication:
Clear written and verbal communication for internal stakeholders and occasional customer contact.
Preferred Skills and Attributes Certifications:
APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent a plus.
Tools:
Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, or similar WMS; familiarity with shipping platforms (e.g., ShipStation, ShipBob).
Mindset:
Data‑driven, process‑oriented, and comfortable leading small cross‑functional initiatives.
Availability:
Flexible to support occasional early/late shifts during peak shipping windows. Success Metrics Inventory Accuracy — Maintain ≥ 98% inventory accuracy on cycle counts. On‑Time Shipping — ≥ 95% on‑time shipment rate for assigned accounts. Order Accuracy — ≤ 0.5% order error rate (wrong SKU/quantity). Exception Response — Acknowledge and begin resolution of shipping exceptions within 2 business hours. Customer Satisfaction — Maintain positive feedback on account interactions (measured via CSAT or internal scorecards).
Working Conditions and Compensation Notes Environment:
Hybrid of office and warehouse floor presence; regular time spent in operational areas.
Travel:
Minimal local travel for carrier or site visits may be required.
