We are hiring an Outreach Specialist (Healthcare Sales / Business Development) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Pueblo, Colorado. Job Summary The Outreach Specialist is responsible for developing referral relationships, generating qualified leads, educating community partners on available healthcare services, and driving enrollment growth. This field-based role focuses on cultivating relationships throughout the assigned territory while consistently meeting enrollment and growth goals. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Outreach Specialist will execute strategic business development initiatives, manage referral sources, and serve as a trusted resource within the healthcare and senior services community. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute territory sales strategies to drive enrollment and census growth. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, social service agencies, government entities, faith-based organizations, and other referral sources. Educate referral partners and prospective participants on available healthcare services and eligibility requirements. Conduct presentations, meetings, networking events, and community outreach activities. Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and strategic account management. Meet or exceed enrollment goals of 6-8 new participants per month following ramp-up. Generate at least two self-sourced leads per day while maintaining strong conversion metrics. Conduct sales calls and follow-up activities to strengthen referral partnerships and increase referrals. Qualify prospective participants and guide them through the enrollment process. Collaborate with internal teams to transition qualified leads. Maintain accurate documentation of all sales activities, communications, referrals, and enrollment efforts within Salesforce CRM. Participate in educational programs and community events designed to increase awareness of services. Provide regular reporting and updates regarding territory performance and goal attainment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent healthcare sales experience. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales, business development, outreach, provider relations, or healthcare marketing experience preferred. Experience in post-acute care, home health, hospice, senior living, managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, or related healthcare settings strongly preferred. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and performance metrics. Strong presentation, relationship-building, and communication skills. Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce. Ability to work independently while managing a territory and maintaining a consistent schedule of community visits. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
