Our studio operates on a 4x9 work structure—four nine-hour days designed to support long-term sustainability, creativity, and work-life balance. We value steady, meaningful work over burnout and believe that when people are well supported, the work itself becomes stronger, more intentional, and more enduring. Located in the historic Bantam Arts Factory in Litchfield, Connecticut, Dumais Made creates handmade ceramic lighting, furniture, mirrors, and objects. Every piece is produced in-house by a small team of skilled craftspeople dedicated to quality, collaboration, and continual improvement. Our campus includes a production studio, glazing annex, showroom, storage facilities, and shipping and wiring departments. We are a close-knit team that takes pride in both our work and our workplace. Position Overview Dumais Made is seeking a full-time Client Relations & Studio Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our growing studio. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, personable, and eager to learn. The role serves as an important bridge between our clients, internal team, and studio leadership, helping ensure projects move smoothly from inquiry through completion. The successful candidate will report directly to the Studio Director and collaborate closely with our marketing and production teams. Responsibilities Client Relations & Sales Support Manage day-to-day communication with clients, designers, and trade partners Prepare and distribute quotes, invoices, and project documentation Conduct regular client follow-up and maintain strong client relationships Assist with customer service inquiries and coordinate resolutions with internal departments Coordinate specialty and custom shade orders Studio & Showroom Coordination Assist with the organization and presentation of the showroom Lead occasional tours of the studio and showroom spaces Support general studio administrative needs Help maintain organized digital records and project files Marketing & Creative Support Assist with photo and video shoots Organize and maintain photography, marketing, and digital asset libraries Support special projects and studio events as needed Team Collaboration Work closely with studio leadership and team members across departments Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and project needs Contribute to a positive, organized, and collaborative studio culture Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite Shopify or similar e-commerce experience is a plus Prior experience in sales, client services, administration, hospitality, or creative industries is preferred but not required Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and finds satisfaction in keeping projects organized and moving forward.
