Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This is a full-time float position, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-6:30 pm.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Referral Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of AH's Referral Specialists, including monitoring productivity, time and attendance and the quality and timeliness of services provided. This position reports to the Front Office Director.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain support and guidelines to each Referral Specialists. Maintain communications with the Referral Specialist Team (RST)for guidance and assist in problem solving. Consult with management personnel as needed regarding problems or issues that may arise. Provide a positive example for other supervisory and non-supervisory personnel to follow to ensure good team efforts resulting in quality patient and staff relations. Evaluates Task Box to maximize efficient referral completion. Audit completed referrals to ensure quality and accuracy. Evaluate Expired Referral Reports to ensure the Referral Specialists completes reports monthly and close out expired referrals. Complete Spot check of Referral Specialists to ensure Data Entry is to date ensuring Care Gaps are removed from Nextgen. Consult with the Front Office Director to recommend suggestions for improvement, such as modifying existing policies and procedures, customer services, using alternate work methods. High School diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills required; advanced skills helpful. Experience using Nextgen is required. Language Skills - Fluent Spanish is helpful but not required.
