They drive business growth, ensure retention, handle contract renewals and RFP requests, and resolve client concerns to increase account value and patient volume, often traveling locally for on-site client visits.
Relationship Management:
Serves as the primary point of contact for company clients (HR managers, safety directors, etc.).
Sales & Growth:
Identifies new sales opportunities, promotes additional services, and manages contract renewals.
Operational Support:
Creates client-specific protocols, ensures high-quality service, and resolves issues.
Reporting:
Tracks and reports on account growth, churn, and service utilization
Industry Knowledge:
Maintains expertise in industry standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT, FMCSA).
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1+ years in clinical sales, account management, or a healthcare setting preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred, often with a background in healthcare
Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Travel:
Ability to travel locally for face-to-face meetings with business Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager specializing in Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be the key liaison between our organization and healthcare providers, clinics, and corporate clients. Your energetic approach will help foster strong relationships, identify client needs, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance workplace health initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise within the medical sales industry while making a tangible impact on community health and safety. Duties Develop and maintain strategic relationships with occupational health clinics, urgent care centers, and corporate clients to promote our services. Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our occupational medicine solutions. Lead negotiations to secure new accounts and expand existing client partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through closing, including follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical sales support, including product demos and customized service proposals. Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and service improvement. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering long-term loyalty. Experience Proven success in B2B sales within the medical or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on occupational medicine or urgent care services. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals effectively. Excellent communication skills for delivering compelling product demos and building rapport with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership in managing outside sales efforts independently while coordinating with internal teams. Proficiency in analysis skills to interpret sales data, market research, and customer needs for strategic planning. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite—including Word, PowerPoint—and CRM tools for organizing accounts and preparing presentations. Background in medical sales or pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable, along with organizational skills that ensure efficient account management.
