Field-Based / In-Person J ob Description We are seeking an experienced and driven Outside Sales Manager to support business growth across the Maryland market. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, CRM experience, and a proven ability to grow regional markets through strategic prospecting and customer engagement. This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel throughout the assigned territory and a results-oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to grow sales within the assigned Maryland territory Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and self-driven lead generation efforts Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, distributors, and key customer accounts Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing and ongoing account management Utilize CRM systems to track sales activity, pipeline management, customer interactions, and forecasting Collaborate with production, operations, and distribution teams to ensure customer expectations are met Identify market trends, competitive activity, and regional growth opportunities Negotiate pricing, contracts, and customer agreements to support revenue growth and profitability Meet or exceed established sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to support customer relationships and business development initiatives Requirements 3+ years of outside sales, territory sales, or business development experience required Prior experience within building materials, construction, manufacturing, distribution, roofing, gutter, exterior products, or related industries strongly preferred Proven track record of generating new business and growing customer accounts Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills Experience managing a sales pipeline and utilizing CRM systems effectively Ability to work independently while managing a territory and prioritizing sales activity Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent sales experience will be considered What We Offer Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission structure Career development and advancement opportunities Supportive, growth-focused environment Opportunity to make a direct impact on company success Why Join Spectra Gutter Systems?
