Position Overview Northside Tool Rental is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Equipment Rental & Delivery Specialist to support branch operations through a combination of inside sales, customer service, equipment preparation, and equipment delivery responsibilities. This multi-functional role serves as a key point of contact for customers while ensuring rental equipment is clean, safe, properly maintained, delivery-ready, and available when needed. This position requires flexibility, as the primary work location will fluctuate between our Fayetteville and McDonough, Georgia branch locations based on business needs. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, operating equipment, and contributing wherever needed to support branch success. This position combines customer interaction, operational support, and occasional equipment delivery responsibilities in a fast-paced team environment. Customer Service & Inside Sales Greet and assist customers in person and by phone, providing exceptional customer service throughout the rental process Recommend equipment solutions based on customer needs and job requirements Process rental reservations, contracts, extensions, and returns Provide product information, rental rates, and operational guidance to customers Build customer relationships and help drive branch revenue through equipment and service recommendations Maintain accurate customer and rental transaction records• Maintain accurate customer and rental transaction records Equipment Preparation & Yard Operations Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment before and after rentals to ensure safety, quality, and readiness Conduct visual safety and operational checks on rental equipment Explain safe equipment operation and basic features to customers upon pickup Assist customers and drivers with loading and unloading equipment safely Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient yard and showroom area Perform general yard and facility maintenance as needed Communicate equipment damage, maintenance concerns, or operational issues to branch leadership Equipment Delivery & Transportation Deliver and retrieve rental equipment to customer locations, job sites, and businesses as needed Safely load, unload, and transport equipment using trailers and proper handling techniques Secure equipment using approved tie-down and load securement methods Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections Maintain delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures when required Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with company policies and applicable transportation requirements Professionally represent Northside Tool Rental during customer deliveries and pickups Equipment You May Work With Mini skid steers Scissor lifts (smaller towable units) Plate compactors Generators Concrete saws Pressure washers Pumps, air compressors, and general contractor tools Required Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn rental software systems Ability to lift and move up to 50-70 lbs safely Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Preferred Qualifications Experience towing trailers or transporting equipment is a plus Experience in equipment rental, construction, landscaping, or related industries Experience operating or transporting equipment and trailers Knowledge of safe equipment loading and basic load securement practices Forklift or material handling experience Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required Why Join Northside Tool Rental? Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
