Transportation Sales

Job Overview We're looking for individuals who are go-getters and outgoing. Those with drive and strong communication skills will do well and be compensated accordingly. You will learn all of the ins and outs of the freight industry and how to sell in it. Duties Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the logistics and transportation industries. Conduct inside sales activities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales. Utilize EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems to streamline order processing and enhance customer experience. Manage contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Experience Proven experience in sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation sectors. Familiarity with EDI systems is highly desirable. Previous experience in inside sales or transportation sales is a plus. Proficiency in using software tools for data entry and customer relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
