Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Drayage Account Manager to join our logistics team. This role is essential in managing and expanding client relationships within the drayage segment, ensuring seamless transportation solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, business development expertise, and a solid understanding of B2B sales processes. Experience with marketing strategies, technology sales, and CRM platforms like Salesforce will be highly valued. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead account management initiatives, develop new business opportunities, and contribute to the growth of our logistics services. Responsibilities Manage and grow existing drayage accounts through proactive communication and strategic planning Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the drayage sector via warm calling and outreach efforts Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction Develop tailored transportation solutions that meet client needs and optimize operational efficiency Collaborate with internal teams including operations, sales, and marketing to ensure seamless service delivery Utilize Salesforce and other technology tools to track account activity, sales pipelines, and customer interactions Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and potential areas for expansion Lead presentations and negotiations with clients, demonstrating strong communication skills and technical knowledge Maintain detailed records of account interactions, proposals, and agreements for reporting purposes Provide leadership within the team by sharing best practices in account management and sales strategies Qualifications Proven experience in negotiation, business development, or B2B sales within logistics or related industries Strong background in account management with a focus on building long-term client relationships Familiarity with marketing strategies and technology sales concepts Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines and customer data Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively Analytical skills to assess market data, customer needs, and operational metrics effectively Demonstrated success in warm calling, lead generation, and closing sales deals Leadership qualities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and clients alike Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to make a significant impact in the logistics industry through strategic account management and innovative sales approaches.
Pay:
$50,445.79 - $60,751.93 per year
