Job Description

The Opportunity We are looking for a technically-minded Account Manager to lead our growth across the Western States. This isn't a "catalog sales" role—we need a hunter who understands valve automation, actuation, and industrial flow control . You will own your territory, working directly with engineers and plant managers to spec out technical solutions that drive uptime and efficiency. What You'll Do Own the
Territory:
Identify and close new business opportunities within the [Mining / Water / Industrial] sectors across the Western region.
Technical Consultation:
Act as a subject matter expert on valve automation packages (ball, gate, butterfly, and control valves).
Solution Selling:
Partner with engineering teams to provide custom-actuated solutions rather than just "off-the-shelf" parts.
Drive Growth:
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and spec-in to final contract negotiation.
What You Bring Technical Pedigree:
3+ years of experience in industrial sales, specifically within valves and automation .
Market Knowledge:
A proven track record of managing and growing accounts within the Western States. The "Hunter"
Mentality:
A self-starter who is motivated by a high-trajectory company and an uncapped commission structure.
Credibility:
