Rental Administrator Associated - 3.5 Hanover Park, IL Job Details $25 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Managing customer accounts Customer communication Customer relationship building Spreadsheets Word embeddings High school diploma or GED Managing client accounts Customer engagement Customer relationship management Productivity software Customer service problem-solving Full Job Description Rental Administrator The Rental Administrator coordinates and manages the end-to-end lifecycle of rental orders. This role serves as the central point of contact for order processing, logistics coordination, and administrative support to ensure seamless workflow execution and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Partner with the Sales Department to facilitate rental equipment orders and ensure accurate order completion and invoicing. Source equipment via internal inventory, Raylease and Raymond Dealer networks Partner with the shop team to coordinate asset preparation, ensuring all equipment meets functionality and quality standards prior to delivery. Coordinate directly with the Transportation Department to ensure the timely shipping and delivery of rental orders. Administer and track all rental transactions using vSimple and ERP systems. Collaborate with the Accounting Department to research, process, and resolve rental invoice disputes in a timely manner. Evaluate the overall profitability of individual rental orders Develop and maintain strong working relationships with applicable vendors. Maintain professional contact with the public, customers, and internal employees to ensure efficient information exchange. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned or as business situations dictate.
Required Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word. Working knowledge of inventory management and asset allocation principles. Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Demonstrated customer relations skills with a focus on service excellence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively. Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong judgment, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma/ GED and 3 years of experience in material handling industry.
