Please review thoroughly before submitting your application.※ Company Overview A global automotive manufacturing organization is seeking an Account Manager to support OEM customer accounts, current business sales activity, and new program launch activity. The role works closely with customers and internal teams across the U.S. and global manufacturing locations. Position Summary The Account Manager will manage OEM customer accounts, including sales forecasting, commercial negotiations, supply planning, delivery coordination, pricing strategy, RFQ/RFI response, and customer relationship management. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and internal engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, legal, and global corporate teams. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned customer accounts, including sales forecasts, commercial negotiations, supply planning, delivery coordination, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Support full program lifecycle activity, including RFI/RFQ review, price strategy development, quote submission, price adjustments, forecasting, negotiations, and customer purchase orders. Support APQP-related sales activities to ensure successful program launches. Maintain customer action-item lists, reports, meeting minutes, records, product files, and customer activity information. Communicate customer requirements related to design changes, commercial matters, manufacturing, and quality control to internal and global stakeholders. Negotiate engineering and commercial solutions with customers and facilitate communication between customers and global internal teams. Research market and pricing information to support competitive commercial offers and sales/profit growth. Review and negotiate customer legal documents such as terms and conditions and NDAs with legal department support. Maintain customer portals as administrator. Manage customer scorecards, accounts receivable matters, and customer visits. Attend customer and job-related trainings. Promote products through customer meetings and presentations. Travel domestically and internationally to customers and manufacturing sites. Support coworkers and other sales activities as needed.
Qualifications Required:
3-5 years of automotive industry experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively under deadlines and pressure. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, databases, and related business systems. Ability to remain stationary for extended periods during the workday. Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 35 lbs.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related experience. Turbocharger industry experience. Other Details Reports to Sales Assistant Manager.
Department:
Sales. Domestic and international travel may be required. Early morning and evening conference calls may be required due to global collaboration. ※This role may include additional responsibilities as needed based on business needs. ※
