New Account Specialist/Interpreter

Overview Southwest Guidance Center is currently seeking a full-time New Account Specialist/Interpreter to join our dynamic team. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary for this position. Candidates must have strong skills in alphabetical filing and a fundamental understanding of common office equipment, including copiers, postage machine, printer, and computer skills. Good clerical and math abilities are essential, along with the capability to work both independently and as a team. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish. Responsibilities Educating potential clients regarding financial obligations and treatment options Facilitate completion of financial paperwork at time of initial appointment, change in financial status, and annually. Respond to consumer requests regarding billing inquires in a timely and professional manner. Prepare, reviews, and send client insurance and billing statements Review accounts for possible assignment to collection agency Prepares general write offs Prepare client refunds Back up Receptionist as needed Back up daily deposits as needed Responds to requests for interpreter services to standard Demonstrates competent use of non-English language to facilitate treatment and services for consumer. Experience At least 1 year of clerical experience preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
