- Manufacturing environment Provide continuous account management and inside sales support with key customers and generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and further developing accounts.
Responsibilities:
Develop accounts by becoming a product and industry expert and learning customers needs through account research and market trends. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations. Coordinate through engineering and prepare quotations and other support documents. Close new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information. Liaison responsibilities include coordinating orders through manufacturing group and continuously communicating internally and with customer group; from order entry through product delivery. Maintain and improve quality results by following standards, recommending improved policies and procedures. Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions, which are technical in nature.Skills/Qualifications:
A minimum of three (3) years in similar role with previous experience in technical customer service, account management and inside sales. Associates Degree Preferred Ability to meet sales goals and work in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed Background within manufacturing and industrial products Ability to read technical drawings and documents Microsoft Office background requiredJob Type:
