Drive, build and manage the Rental Operations business across Carr's three rental equipment locations. Build and manage "Carr selling culture" through coaching all rental staff to ensure maximum performance, product knowledge, and safety protocols Ensure 98% product readiness for rental Build high customer satisfaction from reservation through setup/delivery and finally pickup of product Researching other vendors' offerings, maximizing rental rates and other rates in the market Stay current with industry trends and provide recommendations based on such Inspect rental items to prevent defects, damage, address safety concerns, wear and tear Ensure rental policies and procedures are current, effective and enforced Audit rental forms to ensure accuracy of information, proper customer signatures, and that proper licenses (e.g. hoisters) are obtained, if applicable. Prepare and review quarterly reports and identify areas of opportunity and/or concerns Maintain rental inventory control Direct, engage, and coach all rental staff to ensure maximum performance, product knowledge, and safety protocols Attend and represent Carr Hardware at rental tradeshow(s) Conduct site visits and review the rental operations on a regular basis Qualities Motivated, organized, self-starter who can think independently and solve problems.
