The Commercial Account Development Representative is responsible for developing relationships with business owners, restaurant operators, facility managers, property managers, and commercial decision-makers to create new service and project opportunities for the company. This position is focused on relationship building, networking, prospecting, and opening doors—not high-pressure sales. The successful candidate will serve as an ambassador for JLB Plumbing & Mechanical within the local business community and help establish long-term commercial customer relationships. The ideal candidate is personable, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable initiating conversations with business owners and decision-makers. They enjoy meeting new people, developing relationships, and helping businesses connect with a reliable plumbing and mechanical service provider. This is a flexible part-time position designed for someone who enjoys working independently while contributing directly to the growth of a locally owned and rapidly growing company. Position Objective Generate qualified commercial opportunities and help JLB Plumbing & Mechanical become the preferred plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical service provider for: Restaurants & Bars Property Management Companies Commercial Property Owners Facility Managers Retail Businesses Industrial Facilities Schools & Municipal Buildings Assisted Living Facilities General Contractors Multi-Location Business Operators Success in This Role Looks Like Building relationships with local commercial decision-makers. Creating a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities. Scheduling meetings between prospects and JLB leadership. Securing new recurring service accounts. Increasing JLB Plumbing & Mechanical's visibility within the local business community. Helping generate long-term commercial customer relationships that produce recurring revenue. Reporting Structure The Commercial Account Development Representative reports directly to the Owner and works closely with the Service Manager and Project Manager to coordinate opportunities, customer introductions, and follow-up activities.

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
