Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven, and detail-oriented Personal Lines Client Executive to support and grow a portfolio of personal insurance clients. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service while also identifying opportunities to enhance coverage, improve retention, and support new business growth. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys balancing advisory conversations with service execution, and takes pride in helping individuals and families protect what matters most. The Personal Lines Client Executive will manage day-to-day service needs, support marketing and new business efforts, and provide strategic guidance on coverage options.Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management & Service Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving insurance needs. Serve as a primary point of contact, providing responsive, high-quality service and clear communication. Handle day-to-day service requests, including policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage questions. Coverage Advisory & Account Management Analyze client exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions to protect assets and manage risk. Communicate policy details, coverage options, and recommendations in a clear and client-friendly manner. Identify opportunities for cross-sell, up-sell, and account rounding to enhance client protection and retention. Support renewal reviews to ensure policies remain aligned with client needs. New Business & Marketing Support Support new business opportunities through referrals, rounding, and marketing efforts. Gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, and coordinate with carriers for quotes and placement. Present coverage options and assist clients through the onboarding process. Carrier & Market Coordination Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance company underwriters. Coordinate with carriers to obtain quotes, process changes, and resolve underwriting or service-related issues. Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, and product offerings. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, organized documentation and activity notes within the agency management system. Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with agency workflows and compliance standards. Perform all essential job functions with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. Qualifications Experience in personal lines insurance, client service, or account management preferred. State of Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license, or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe. Strong ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Why Highstreet?
